From Glass Frontages to Exterior Walls: T-M400C Customer Cases in Spain and Poland

Cleaning a building exterior starts with a practical challenge: getting the cleaning equipment into the right position.

Glass frontages, upper wall sections, and projecting architectural features all require different approaches. For cleaning teams, reaching these surfaces can involve as much planning as the cleaning itself.

Customer demonstrations from Spain and Poland show how the AeroClean T-M400C brings drone-based spraying to two different building environments, with operators controlling the work from the ground.

Spain: Cleaning Around a Commercial Glass Frontage

The Spanish demonstration takes place outside a commercial building with large glass panels and horizontal architectural louvers above the storefront.

An operator wearing a helmet and high-visibility vest controls the aircraft from a marked-off area. The drone moves into position in front of the building, directing its spray toward the exterior while connected to the equipment below.

The setting highlights the practical details of working at a street-facing property. Trees, pavement, building entrances, and surrounding structures all influence where the operator stands and how the equipment is arranged.

Here, the drone carries the spray equipment into position while the operator monitors the work from ground level. Cones and barrier tape mark the operating area, and the hoses and cables remain visible throughout the demonstration.

Poland: Directing the Spray onto Exterior Wall Sections

The Polish customer demonstration presents a different facade: a building with rectangular cladding panels, windows, and projecting vertical features.

The aircraft directs a visible stream of water toward the wall while changing its position alongside the building. An elevated camera view makes the arrangement easy to understand—the drone works near the facade, with its tether extending toward the ground.

This example shifts the focus from a glass-fronted commercial entrance to wall surfaces and architectural details. It illustrates how the cleaning attachment can be positioned for different parts of an exterior, with the operator adjusting the aircraft to suit the target area.

Why Both Power and Water Come from the Ground

The T-M400C combines tethered electrical power and a ground-fed cleaning system for the DJI Matrice 400, using the required DJI TB100C tethered battery.

This arrangement addresses two practical limits: onboard battery capacity and the need to carry cleaning water. Ground-supplied power supports extended operation, while the hose supplies water to the airborne spray gun.

The listed cleaning configuration includes:

  • Cleaning height up to 60 m

  • An 80 m water hose

  • A high-pressure washer rated at 110–160 bar

  • Interchangeable nozzles for different spray patterns

These specifications describe the system’s operating capabilities; the customer clips demonstrate how the equipment is positioned and used at actual buildings.

A Practical Reference for Building Maintenance Teams

Together, the two demonstrations show the T-M400C working across distinct exterior layouts: a commercial glass frontage in Spain and a paneled building facade in Poland.

For contractors considering drone cleaning, the useful questions are specific to the property: Which surfaces need treatment? Where can the aircraft operate? How will the ground equipment and tether be positioned?

The customer examples provide a reference for those decisions. They show how cleaning equipment can be brought to the facade while the operator remains on the ground—an approach worth considering when planning exterior maintenance for suitable buildings.
