High-rise building maintenance is often constrained by access, labor, and safety risks. This week, we showcased the AeroClean P3 (T50) Tethered Cleaning System in a real-world urban environment—the glass curtain walls of the Tianjin Low Altitude Economy Research Institute.
Captured in our latest footage, the drone-mounted system performed a full-scale façade cleaning task, demonstrating both the reach and cleaning precision of the flexible high-pressure nozzle. The before-and-after comparison clearly shows how the system restored clarity and reflectivity to heavily polluted glass panels, with minimal manual intervention.
The T50 system’s integrated spray arm allowed smooth adjustment during flight, targeting difficult angles and elevated sections that traditional methods struggle to access. The operator completed the task from the ground using a DJI M300 drone, paired with the tethered system for continuous high-pressure water delivery—12 MPa by default, with optional upgrades to 20 MPa.
🔹 Urban glass façades
Frequent exposure to weather and air pollution leaves building exteriors dull. AeroClean P3 is ideal for routine maintenance in business parks, tech campuses, and high-rise residential zones—especially where scaffolding is costly or impractical.
🔹 Solar panel cleaning
Dust accumulation significantly reduces energy output. The system offers a lightweight, deployable solution to maintain panel efficiency across solar farms or rooftop arrays.
🔹 Grid infrastructure
Power insulators and transmission towers often require targeted, non-contact cleaning. The drone-mounted P3 provides access to elevated structures while avoiding manual climbing or shutdowns.
🔹 Transportation infrastructure
From elevated highways to bridge undersides, the adjustable cleaning rod and tethered power system allow drones to reach corners and curves that are otherwise labor-intensive.
In the Tianjin deployment, the AeroClean P3 was mounted on a DJI M300 RTK, demonstrating smooth compatibility and synchronized flight control. The system's real-time spray control and adjustable cleaning angles (+10° to -50°) allowed precise coverage, while the streak-free water treatment module (optional) ensured that the glass remained spotless after drying.
Operators performed the entire cleaning process from the ground—no harnesses, no scaffolding, no lift platforms. The tethered design enabled uninterrupted water flow, and the 1-minute setup time made on-site deployment quick and cost-effective.
From drone takeoff to final rinse, the AeroClean P3 delivered not only visual results but a safer and more scalable way to handle building maintenance in modern cities.
