Introducing the SU17 Research Edition Drone—an open-source UAV designed for advanced scientific applications. In this test, we put the SU17 through two challenging scenarios: navigating through a stone array and flying autonomously in a dense forest. Powered by 3D LiDAR and onboard SLAM, it performs precise localization, real-time mapping, and reliable obstacle avoidance, even in GPS-denied environments.
